⏲️ UCAS - One month to go!

Not to panic you lovely lot, but I just wanted to send a friendly reminder that there is now just one month to go until the UCAS application deadline for Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science programs. The deadline is 15th October, so it’s time to make sure everything is in order to submit the best application possible.

Here are some key things to make sure you’ve done by now:

• Personal Statement: Ensure your personal statement is drafted, reviewed, and refined. It should reflect your passion, experiences, and suitability for your chosen course.

• References: Check with your referee (usually a teacher) that your reference is ready or in progress. Make sure they know the UCAS deadline.

• Admissions Tests: Be aware of any entrance exams required for your course. Ensure you’re registered and do your research on what they will look like!

• Course Requirements: Double-check that your predicted grades meet the requirements for your chosen courses. If not, consider whether there are other options to apply for.

• Mock Interviews: Start preparing for interviews if it is stated that you require one. Practice with teachers or mentors to get comfortable with typical questions.

• Work Experience: If you haven’t already mentioned relevant work experience in your application, make sure to include this! It’s especially important for Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science.
