  1. Review Course Content and Modules
It’s crucial to go beyond just the course title and look closely at the structure of the degree. Check if the modules on offer match your interests and career goals. Some universities may offer specialised modules or unique areas of study that could be more suited to your passions or future plans. Make sure you're excited about what you’ll be learning!

  2. Look into Assessment Methods
Every university assesses students differently. Some courses may be exam-heavy, while others rely on coursework, presentations, or group projects. Be sure to reflect on which assessment style suits you best, as this can significantly impact your university experience and performance.

  3. Understand the Campus Facilities
Now is a good time to revisit the specific facilities that will support your studies. Whether it's laboratories, studios, or libraries, ensure the university has the resources you’ll need. Check for specialised equipment or spaces that align with your course requirements.

  4. Review the Support Systems
University life can sometimes be overwhelming, so it's worth checking what kinds of support services are available. This includes academic support (like tutoring or study skills workshops), mental health services, and career advice. Strong support systems can make a huge difference in your overall experience.

  5. Investigate Extracurricular Opportunities
University is not just about academics. Look into societies, clubs, and sports teams that you might want to join. These can help you meet like-minded people, build a well-rounded experience, and develop skills outside your course. Make sure the university offers extracurricular activities that align with your interests.

  6. Check Accommodation and Cost of Living
If you haven't already, revisit the types of accommodation available and its cost, as well as the overall cost of living in the city. These factors can impact your budget significantly, so be realistic about whether you can afford both the tuition and living expenses.

  7. Read Student Reviews
While you've likely done this already, it's always a good idea to take one last look at current student reviews. You can often find up-to-date opinions on websites like The Student Room, or even through social media. Hearing about real student experiences can provide valuable insights into both the positives and potential drawbacks of a particular university.

By taking the time to carefully review these areas, you can feel more confident that the universities you're applying to are the best fit for you both academically and personally.
